More excitement! Oh my goodness! Lady Jewell has just informed me that I have been selected Featured Fairy of the Week for 24-30 July 2005!! Here is my award:

Here is what she said to me: "You have been chosen because of all the wonderful spirit you share with all of us at DRealm of the Fairies!" And here are the questions and answers for my interview.

What do you feel is the best part about being a Fairy?

To me, the best part about being a spirit fairy is spreading spirit! I love dusting guestbooks, and I love visiting web sites. I love getting to know other fairies and sharing spirit with them.

How long have you been a Fairy with The Site Fights?

I have just rejoined TSF after being gone for about 2 years. Previously, I had been a Spirit Fairy for over 3 years. Now, I have barely been back for less than 3 months lol.

What advice would you give a new fairy who wants to get more involved with DRealm and The Site Fights?

My advice would be to take it a bit easy at first, as a new fairy. I think everyone (including me) wants to jump in and do it all right away. That can lead to burn out. So, when you are a new fairy, focus and learn the job you are doing really well and when you are ready to take on something else, pick one thing (not a bunch of things) and do it really well. You can add to your activities that way, and hopefully not get burned out or confused (lol).

I also recommend shouting! You always run into folks who are shouting with you :) The message boards used to be crazy! with everyone there all the time and all sorts of things going on. I think it would be great to get that going again and that would certainly be a place to get more involved. As a fairy, join the yahoogroup to be able to interact with other fairies. Participate in the things that are sent through the newsletter (ie birthdays, congratulations, etc and monthly events). If your team has a yahoogroup, you may want to join that as well to get to know everyone on the team. I could probably go on and on lol. Send spirit flowers or ink blots to random folks. Ask a fairy who has been around for a while to help you out a bit. It has been my experience that everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. I have never had anyone turn me away when I asked for help or just wanted to have some fun at TSF.

Why do you treasure being a Spirit Fairy?

I treasure the friends that I have made. It's a real joy to return to TSF and see so many of the same people here, or to see other fairies returning as well. And the other day, I was visiting some other teams and ran across fighters I used to dust ... so there are still just so many people here who have been here for a long time. I know that I will make more friends here at TSF and I look forward to that. I also treasure the spirit of The Site Fights. There isn't anything like it anywhere and that is why I returned. I missed it and all the people so much!
